A smile is all it takes :)

Its been quite sometime that I wrote something on my blog. I almost forgot that I have one. Its really taking time to type something on this blog editor now. Getting back on track when you lost your control is super difficult !
Today was a normal day just like any other and I went to terrace unusually with my cup of tea in the evening. Breeze was divine, staying in Bangalore is a gift (Climate wise) for a Chennaite like me. It was a nice feeling to have the fresh air blow on your face and to watch the kids pay. That's when I met an elderly person from the same apartment I stay. Never have I seen him, for a matter of fact I do not know anyone in this apartment which has nearly 20 families except for the security. That's the fate of this modern age.
I smiled at him and we started talking. Though we had a short conversation, It felt good. He even complemented me saying I am good :) and that he could figure that from my eyes. It just felt awesome to receive some complement from a complete stranger. It all started with a Smile. If I had not smiled, may be we would not have spoke. Smile brightens not only others life but also your life. A complete stranger doesnt really feel like stranger once you smile. Smile is all it takes. Lets Smile :)

Cant believe its Me !

Watched "Life of Pie" in 3D finally after much confusion within the mind. Official trips are good but when you are sent alone and there is no one from the same office that you know then it becomes really hard to spend the time. If there is something which you don't want to think then that's exactly what you end up thinking when you are alone. For that matter even when you associate with people it might make you feel lonely after a while. Coming back to Pie, Yes I went alone to that move. Movie was at 4.05 pm and it would take only 5 mins to walk from my hotel to the theater. I finally decided at 3.50 pm and left the room at 4.03 pm, Was 5 mins late to the ticket counter and hit the screen. But, to my luck dint miss a scene. The promotional trailers from yet to release movies were playing and I was right on time :)
There was a young couple in the last row, I dint want to disturb them and hence took the row before it were a old couple were sitting. It was indeed a nice movie, I felt the starting a bit a little lengthy but the way it took off was just nice. A pleasant movie altogether. And, I still cant believe it was me who went all alone :)

Pacific Catch

Going out alone is not something which I am used to or like to. Since, my stay in US is short wanted to try some new cuisine and "Pacific catch" which is on the way to my hotel came as a easy target.
Went through the menu carefully and then ordered a "Thai Rice Bowl with Shrimp". Dish had too much of sweetness and shrimp was stinking, which I realized only after having few of them. Approx $17 for this new try ! Nothing to repent, anyway happy that I tried. Will never order it again :P By the way ran to the bathroom to brush again to get rid of that stinking feeling :)

Being Human

We have all kinds of people around us from gentle, selfish, selfless, emotional to the most stupid. Some we keep near, some we cant avoid and some we run away from. There are also a few who are not friends nor the people you want to impress but just some people who you think should not hate you or think you wrong. May be its just a human thought were you cant accept if people hate you. There can be many people who understand you, love you, accept you but still some part of you cant withstand when you understand that there are as well people who just hate you. How do we explain to these people, they are just your acquaintances not your friends to whom you can explain yourselves or in some cases you just don't have to, nor are they ready to hear you or your stand. Nor can you throw away the thought that this acquaintance is not important.
All that can be done is to stay calm, make yourself clear to your own self and trust Life.

Baby steps

Small steps get us to a mighty leap which we may have never recognized, we might not clearly see what exactly is happening or might feel lost in the flow. But, what we need to understand is to make those tiny steps towards what we really want us to finally reach. All great things start as a small step, all that we need is the clear picture to the ultimatum framed in our mind steadily. Fears and uncertainty should make us strong and not weak. When mind wanders into many things, its better to stop and really give a thought on what we are thinking into. Does that thought take us to somewhere good, does it make us feel good, is it actually a reality or do we dream of something bad which is after-all not bad and push ourselves into a vicious circle of darkness. By the time we realize what is happening, time to Live is already lost. Once we start evaluating our own thoughts, may be we would really understand were we are heading to. No one can be a better judge than ourselves. No one can help us more than our own self. It makes me wonder how some people reach heights while some get lost in the flow of life and live the average life. More than hard work or determination, I believe one more key difference between these people is the way they value or re-evaluate their own thoughts and the will power to get back on track by evaluating the same.
"Little drops of water, Little grains of sand, make the mighty ocean and the pleasant Land. Little minutes, small though they may be, make the mighty ages of eternity."

Life is Simple

Felt happy when listening to songs from KUMKI. Really awesome songs after a long time. Most songs now a days don't remain in the heart for long. 80's songs were The Best, and there are very few numbers which come up now with that real soul in it.

Songs prioritized from KUMKI album based on my liking :
1. "Ayayayoo Anandhamey" - Made me feel like I am flying. It did really bring Joy :-)
2. "Sollitaley Ava Kaadhala" - Oh My God ! Mind blowing one. Voice was just awesome and soothing. You could just feel Love.
3. "Onnum Puriyala" - Loved the starting bit. Did not expect Imman could sing like this.

Happen to hear THUPPAKI songs as well today, I felt it was just ok. Nothing more than that. Composers now a days add too much and complicate the natural feel that a song should create. Listen to the songs from Kumki, Simple but best. If we apply the same to Life, Life will be Simple Machi ;)
