Read a magazine that explained briefly about heart disease and heart attack... Thought of presenting these informations. Many might be knowing but for people like me who were ignorant, it might make themselves aware.

The risk factors which causes a heart disease:
-> Increasing age
-> Heredity
-> Smoking
-> High blood cholestrol
-> High Blood pressure / Stress
-> Physical inactivity
-> Obesity
-> Diabetes mellitus
-> Stress
-> Alcohol ( I hav heard tht some of my batchmates in office hav started to drink... I donno wat makes dem drink... must b dey take it as fun . one fellow told tht he doesnt drink but goes to have d side dish provided in bar since it is much tastier then in other hotels.... I shd also try them to find out d diff )

Coronary artery is responsible for supplyin blood to d heart. We hav a single right coronary artery n d left coronary branches into two. Due to any of d risk factors specified above a soft deposits of cholesterol called "plaques" are formed along the inner walls of d arteries n dis results in slowin down d blood supply. Chest pain during driving or due to tension or sweating might be d symptoms of a heart disease.

Formation of these plaques in any of the 3 vessels specified abv is referred as a block.
The amount of block present is determined using an angiogram test(involves hospitalization for 2 days with little blood loss) or the latest one is d 64 slice CT coronary angiogram( 20min procedure with no blood loss - laser beam is used to find d diff postures of d heart ).

Depending upon d % of block any1 of d appropraite decision is taken.
-> Medication (or)

-> Balloon angioplasty and stenting - A tiny plastic tube is passed thro d groin or hand till d origin of d coronary arteries, n den a thin soft wire is passed thro dis tube n is negotiated across d block. den another tube havin a balloon at one end is passed over dis wire up to d site of blockage.At dis point d balloon is inflated to widen d artery by pushing d plaque against d wall of d artery thereby restoring d blood flow.A stent is a tiny metallic mesh tube looking lik a spring.The stent remains in d body throughout life. (or)

-> Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting(CABG) - The left inernal mammary artery or the vein frm d legs called d saphenous vein or d radial artery frm d arm is choosed for bypass surgery. After choosing any 1 of dese dey are joined up with d artery havin d fault. As d name states d block is not removed but d blood bypasses thro another route. There r 2 distinct types in dis CABG:
1. Conventional CABG - Stopping d heart beat using heart-lung machine n performing surgery on top of d heart.
2. Off pump surgery - Medication is used to slow the heart beat n d surgery is performed.

For doin a bypass surgery there are few ways depending upon d patients age, % of block n money spent. A robotic heart surgery is also available. A heart transplant is done if d heart is very badly damaged(very rare).

A heart attack is due to total blockage of the coronary artery n a bypass might be done for dem.The person has to b rushed to d hospital within an hour.

Avoid all these to happen to U or ur loved ones by avoiding d risk factor n takin proper checkup periodically.

Note : If such thing happens to ur loved ones bring in d feeling tht U r being present for ur loved one. There is alwayz a diff between caring n doing.

Routine schedule

Nothing was great all dese days. Jus a routine schedule handling few lines of code... checkin - checkout - move - backout... only all dese words i have been hearing. Whether i am doing a useful work or is it up to my capability or just whiling away time is still wandering in my mind.

Reaching home by a office car is another kodumai to the core.Alone in a car with sometime the driver speaking some general, wage, useless topic really irritates me to the core. I happen to experience the same sterday, there was a small accident near CMBT, where a tempo travels has slightly hit a motor cycle.The usual scenario would be like the tempo person would be quarreling with the motor cycle guy.To my suprise it was other way round with the motorcycle fellow slapping/hitting the tempo driver.This situation resulted in my driver slowing down d car...

Now my driver started talkin/blabbering some crap lik dis,

? Y r d public lik this jus watchin d person who is gettin hit [neenga public illa yah sir - 11 maniku road la erukardha nallu peru... avan vandhu kappathuvan?]

? must be tht motor cycle person wld hav drunk badly [thanni adicha thaan veram varum pola eruku ]

wat am I to do after hearin al dese dialogues...Na sapdama nondhu poi thala vali la yeppo vedu poi servom nu patha,edhula endha maari tholla vera... Really irritation to the core to hear al these... atlast after seeing me giving NILL reaction, he finally shut his mouth.

True fact

Mr.X is in need of abt Rs.3L and asks for a loan in a leadin bank organization whose name is most prone thro fwd mails.Mr.X also applies loan for d same n d bank assures to give him within a months time. But Mr.X doesnt receive the amt n about 3 months comes to an end, hence he sends a letter n cancels d loan amt stating d reason as "since loan amt dint reach me at the appropriate time i wish to cancel it"... D bank off accepts d letter sayin tht he wld cancel d loanamt...
But Mr.X receives a detailed stmt for d loanamt i.e monthly EMI stmts without recievin d loan amt itself.. so Mr.X calls d customer care n he was informed tht d chq was sent n no stmt for cancellation was recieved...
After a great struggle, n after enterin d bank n after wasting hours together/exactly 2 days... Mr.X comes to know abt d exact situation...

The Bank officials did not cancel d loan since d reason for cancellation was specified as "loan amt dint reach @ d appropriate time".. and d bank has got d cheque[with postin addrs for Mr.X] frm d courier office since Mr.X has given d letter n in case if he recieves d courier it wld create a bad situation... finally after raisin voice with bank officials, dey admit everythin n also showed d cheque n finally after d same raisin of voice in dere public bank dey accept to cancel it... Mr.X waits for abt 3 hrs.. n d bank officials show him an printout of a email wherein it involved abt 12 hieararchical officials names for approving d cancellation n dey are gonna fax d same to d head quraters, stating some other reason for cancellation since it was serious issue n d entire involved people ll loose dere jobs !

# shd not hav accepted d letter for cancellation [bank wld hav stated tht dese stmt as reason ll create prob hence mention it as some other reason n wld hav avoided unnecessary trouble for d public]
# Receiving d courier[containin d cheque]- greatest crime

D other pity ful situation is tht d monthly EMIs r thro ECS n nobody cld stop d EMI frm d bank unless n until dere is no money in d paritcular account @ tht moment. Dis entire situtaion happened on friday n ECS for d first month is on monday... d bank tht finally sent d req for cancellin d loan say... " it ll take abt 5 days to cancel d amt hence plz try to stop d ECS or keep NO MONEY in bank... ! "

Since Mr.X was atleast able to reach people fast thro his tactics of raisin d voice.. d soln has come in 2days...

Love Birds...

Today was an usual day til I heard abt dese lv birds... had a small break in gang nw, v keep changin topics n discuss totally irrelevant topics...

Today as v were doing d same, our sight fell on a lonely pigeon, with beautiful colored neck. My colleague got reminded abt a sad-true-lv story abt d lv birds n it goes lik dis...


She was gifted lv birds n a neighbour during a visit to their home had opened d cage to c it fly... The female one flew to d kitchen n got smashed with ammikal[don no wat it is in english] n died. The male after roamin d house, came back 2 d cage. dey had left d cage open so tht d male cld fly away, but it never left d cage n was expectin d return of its mate with no charm n happened to b broken. It remained alive oly less than a day after d separation.

Hw attached r dese birds, n dere name states tht dey are very social n affectionate parrots in german.Most Humans today never even try to properly understand wat lv n care is, but dese birds...! enna nu solradu...!

Why do geese fly in a V?

I never knew the answer for dis til yesterday n one of my friend enlightened me as she found it in suki sivams book... And here comes d answer.,


First, it conserves their energy. Each bird flies slightly above the bird in front of him, resulting in a reduction of wind resistance. The birds take turns being in the front, falling back when they get tired. In this way, the geese can fly for a long time before they must stop for rest.

The second benefit to the V formation is that it is easy to keep track of every bird in the group. Fighter pilots often use this formation for the same reason.
