Accident for the first time in life…

My friend vino messaged me in the morning asking for her material that I got from her to take Xerox. I had to return it by today. My dad came for lunch, he needed to go out only at some 5.30pm and hence I thought I could return the material during this time by taking his vehicle (activa) and also visit my friend rajis home, which was nearby. I took my vehicle and moved from home at about 2.40pm and met with an accident at 2.50pm near the holly angles school near 18th main road.

The exact scene was like this…
The road that I was going was branching into two in that I had to take a left turn, before me a police jeep was taking the right turn. I was really slow which I most of the time wont be. A hero Honda bike came from the opposite road (i.e. from the left branch), I was on the process of turning and moreover slow only, that Honda fellow was quite fast and approached towards me… when I knew that he was about to dash me, I applied break and was standing (before some 2 seconds), but since that fellow was out of control… he hit my front wheel strongly resulting in both falling down with bikes. I got up and he too and split the panparak from his bloody mouth… he was totally stinking (must b a drunkard)… he took his vehicle (without switching off the engine) but that fellow raised the gear knowingly or unknowingly I don no, while taking the vehicle he drop it and again hit my vehicle… then that fellow went towards the silencer side of the vehicle and obviously his right leg ankle got a mark due to heat…

A jeep driver saw this scenario and he came forward, took both the vehicles and placed it in a standing position. This bloody Honda fellow started literally barking that I only hit that fellow and had got hurt in his leg due this accident. The driver told very clearly to that fellow that he saw everything that happened and told him that,” It was you who let your leg inside the silencer”…. But that rouge made statement like, ”ponnuga accident panna adhu ellam kannuku theriayadha nu”… he was absolutely shouting on top of his voice… he even told the people passing by that I hit him nicely… I even explained him politely using the word “sir” for each of my sentence that my vehicle had got hit very badly (the front portion had a big bent with scratches over the side and the front tyre had moved its position a little and was scratching the sides… and with me full pain in my right hand, typing this now in left hand)…

That idiot was not ready to hear anything… all that he knew was to shout and to make a big scene expecting to get money… he called me to the near by thirumangalam police station for a complain… the driver told to get my vehicle number and complain but for that also this idiot dint accept… he finally came to his target of asking Rs.200/- for no great scratch in his vehicle… me with no other go had to give Rs.100/- with all pain in my side.


Lesson learnt:
Raise your voice when needed… even if we are going properly there is no guarantee for the same to happen in the other side. All that can be done is we have to be cautious and drive properly. In this scenario that happened today only the person who barked got attention. And one more thing was I hesitated to go to the police station since unnecessarily they will call parents and unwanted tension for them, this no one should do. I regret now for me not going there and facing the situation.
