Gals are improving, they excel in this and that, they are found in all fields, they come first, they even work, they even drive motor cycle/bus/auto... what ever gals do is seen as if its a discovery happened. I do understand the reason behind all these is because they were just inside home within the 4 walls as just a home maker in the past. And people start appreciating when they come out – fine, good accepted.
Giving a closer look, I still feel in some places gals are maintained as “pokisham” (treasure) in home. In the name of protection, independence is not obtained as how guys enjoy them.
A very simple example,
I told my dad that I need to go to X place to meet friends. He asks me all these questions even now; when I am grown up to an extent to manage things myself…
Which place?
Who all are coming?
Shall I drop you? [I say NO and he says…]
Its better that I drop, you might not be aware of the routes properly?
I think I will be coming at this time in that route so better start @ y time….

When my brother asks the same…
He says… “Come soon before it darks!!!” [Literally stomach burns here for me]
Another difference is… I ask for permission but my brother gives only information.
