Saw Guru on d pongal eve :)
wow it was great... As usual with manis style. Mani is jus amazing, feels about each n every stage of life and gives a natural touch.

GURU is a story about a person in the 1980s[good costume design n al other work to support the 1980s effect] wishing to start business, d hurdles he face, how he tackles people with money/words/action, wat reward he gets frm d government and al these blended with aishus lv after marriage.

Aishus intro song is really a good feast for eyes and gives a chill effect... The song starts of with Adirampalli falls in kerala and den moves to pollachi n thirunalvelli.




This song was shot in Thirumala Naiker Mahal in Madurai... well, will anybody recognise it ? When I visited the same Mahal last year, I felt bad that the government has not even preserved such a great treasure. It was full of dust and the work made on d wood were getting bad.Rajivs eye fell on it and he has done a great work in showing this place with atmost beauty as it is already.

All other songs also had its own beauty n charm too.The movie was well picturized with available resources in our Nation itself.

Madhavan dint have much work to do as it was in Rang De Basanti.
Altogether a movie worth watching ;)
